Been awhile since I've gotten on here. Life manages to keep us busy! Not a whole lot going on; the last time I painted I got sick again. Not sure if it's the paint affecting me or if I keep getting colds from the grands. But it makes it hard to breathe and so the painting is on hold yet again.
We have had some nice weather; Thursday it was 64 out on my front porch! I puttered around outside with no coat on, it was that warm. The sun felt so good. I killed my first snake of the season, lol, when hubby and I were sitting out at the side yard, and he noticed a snake right behind me! Yikes! We've also been battling large carpenter ants, mostly in the basement but some have been found upstairs too. I did go downstairs and sprayed a bit, so hopefully that will help to knock them out. I'm sure I'll have to do it several times.
We are going to have a tea party at church (on my birthday) so I've been gathering things for then. I bought some cute cups and snack plates; white with pink roses. I need to find more cups to go along with them, but they are pretty. Also some clear plates and I plan to either cut out pictures of flowers or print guests' names and place between the plates. :^)
