August days

Well hubby's coming home in 6 days! He's more than anxious to get here.

Just been working around the yard and house here on the home front. Spent about 8-9 hours working in the basement yesterday. Well not the entire time, but a good portion of it. In between that my brother stopped by and his buddy stopped by later to look at my air conditioner. He's supposed to come back today and maybe top off the freon. Now that it's cooler outside, eh! It is about 57 out there this morning, quite nice. Had to go out and pick up the garbage cuz the coons got into it again.

Then there's the internet thing. I changed from Comcast to AT&T and have had a myriad of problems ever since! I went a whole week without phone service. Part of that week was without internet too (you'd think they'd both go out at the same time, since they come in on the same line!). Then the repair guy came out and fixed the lines and informed me I had a short in the burglar alarm line. So he snipped that and then my phone line came back. Hmm. So the alarm people are coming today. So then I still could not connect wirelessly through my router (linksys) so ended up buying tech support. GRRR! FINALLY got wireless after 2 1/2 hours on the phone with tech support, only to have it last a little over 1 day and go out again. ARGH!!! Talk about frustrating! So we went yesterday with no net for 12 hours. I'll be glad when all this crap is settled!

Anyway time to refill the coffee cup and get through the mail.
